Living A Life For Jesus

Living a life for Jesus is so important. God called us His people to spread the gospel to others that may not know Him.  Mark 16: 15 - 18 "And He said unto them go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, But he that believeth not shall be damned.  And those signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up new serpents; And if they drink any deadly thing, It shall not hurt them; They shall lay hands on the sick, And they shall recover." If you know someone out there who needs Jesus reach out to them, for we never know what tomorrow holds, it could be their last chance to receive Him. If you are reading this and you don't know Jesus I would like to pray for you and ask God to help you. Don't wait to get your life straight with God do it now before it's too late. Jesus loves you and is waiting with his arms open wide. Please comment below if you want prayer. I would be more than willing to pray for you. I hope you were blessed with this encouraging word. Is God Enough?

Is God enough for you? This is a very important question. One that all Christians need to consider. Is God enough for you? Some of you may wonder what I mean by that question. Let me explain. Is God enough for you? Is He more important than your friends? Whatever popularity you may have? Your money? Your romantic relationships? Your family? Something I've been processing through recently, if I lost all these things, would God still be enough? Would I still be able to smile knowing God is in control? Would I still be able to find joy through the midst of trials? Would I still rely on God to give me everything I need? Because, you see, God is always enough. It's just a matter of whether we make Him enough for ourselves. Are you searching for happiness outside of God? Maybe you are searching for love and belonging inside the confines of a friendship, family, or a relationship. Maybe you're looking for happiness in money or popula...

Don't Be Afraid to Stand Out

Photo by  Joshua Earle  on  Unsplash In our culture, there seems to be a lot of pressure to conform . You know, to fit in with everyone you're friends with, and only do what is 'culturally acceptable'. I find that there's a lot of pressure (shall we call it peer pressure ?), especially during the teen years. There's pressure to fit in - by getting into the cliques, by wearing "cool" clothes, and just by generally blending in with everyone around us. We want to be liked by our peers, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I'm here today to tell you: You don't have to conform. You don't have to be like everyone around you. You don't have to be the teenager who rebels, the guy who sleeps around, or the girl who goes to every single party. You don't have to be popular to be loved. Because that's what the culture says is cool. That's what the world around us is doing. You can rise above that. You can be so much mo...

Be Merciful to Me

Photo by Jeremy Yap on Unsplash How do you approach God? Do you approach Him through your good works, the things you do, the way you treat the people around you? Or do you approach Him through Jesus Christ, Who died for your sins and took your place so you could be made holy? What is the right way to approach God? Today, we're going to look at a passage in Luke 18 that shows us how two different people responded in these two different ways, and we're going to see which one was the right way. In Luke 18 verses 9-14 Jesus tells a parable about two men who went to the temple to pray. "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican." v.10 KJV So, the first was a Pharisee. And he came to God through his own works. Watch what he says here: "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are,...  " v. 11a KJV The Pharisee came to God based on his works and t...
