"Love Beyond Measure"

Dear America, I know it hurts the the pain we go through,  to have a family member or friend say that you are no good, they say they don't want anything to do with you so they don't talk to you anymore. People laugh at you they make jokes, somehow they sense inside that you are special, that God created you, that you are a Christian, they just say that they don't believe in that stuff and they don't want to hear anything about the name of Jesus. Don't give up hope He is with you, abide in Him. John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. His life comprehens the darkness not, He is light of the world. Remember we are loved beyond measure by Him. The Bible says to treat others with kindness as you would want to be treated yourself.  I know sometimes we get down in the dumps, we just don't know how to feel. We feel like someone just came and punched us in the nose. You may think that love doesn't mean anything or that it doesn't exist, but it does. Buying gifts for your family, buying a brand new car to show your brother that you love him, doesn't always show Them that you mean it. Words speak louder than actions, choose them carefully. Sometimes it is nice to just tell your family I love you! Or write a little note  to them, it really makes them feel special and really makes their day instead of buying them a bunch of gifts. Buying them their love doesn't fix the problem, what does is showing them how much you care and love them. Do not take family for granted for they are treasure sent from above. So be kind spread the love of Jesus to others. Do things with a grateful heart, so tell somebody you love them and how much you care for them, let them know that Jesus loves them. Love is kind love is patient, love is a gift from God you must always use it properly. Don't wait till it's too late to tell someone Jesus loves them. He loves you and is waiting with his arms open wide. If any of you would like prayer for any reason please comment below me and some of the other girls will be happy to pray for you.

Is God Enough?

Is God enough for you? This is a very important question. One that all Christians need to consider. Is God enough for you? Some of you may wonder what I mean by that question. Let me explain. Is God enough for you? Is He more important than your friends? Whatever popularity you may have? Your money? Your romantic relationships? Your family? Something I've been processing through recently, if I lost all these things, would God still be enough? Would I still be able to smile knowing God is in control? Would I still be able to find joy through the midst of trials? Would I still rely on God to give me everything I need? Because, you see, God is always enough. It's just a matter of whether we make Him enough for ourselves. Are you searching for happiness outside of God? Maybe you are searching for love and belonging inside the confines of a friendship, family, or a relationship. Maybe you're looking for happiness in money or popula...

Don't Be Afraid to Stand Out

Photo by  Joshua Earle  on  Unsplash In our culture, there seems to be a lot of pressure to conform . You know, to fit in with everyone you're friends with, and only do what is 'culturally acceptable'. I find that there's a lot of pressure (shall we call it peer pressure ?), especially during the teen years. There's pressure to fit in - by getting into the cliques, by wearing "cool" clothes, and just by generally blending in with everyone around us. We want to be liked by our peers, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I'm here today to tell you: You don't have to conform. You don't have to be like everyone around you. You don't have to be the teenager who rebels, the guy who sleeps around, or the girl who goes to every single party. You don't have to be popular to be loved. Because that's what the culture says is cool. That's what the world around us is doing. You can rise above that. You can be so much mo...

Be Merciful to Me

Photo by Jeremy Yap on Unsplash How do you approach God? Do you approach Him through your good works, the things you do, the way you treat the people around you? Or do you approach Him through Jesus Christ, Who died for your sins and took your place so you could be made holy? What is the right way to approach God? Today, we're going to look at a passage in Luke 18 that shows us how two different people responded in these two different ways, and we're going to see which one was the right way. In Luke 18 verses 9-14 Jesus tells a parable about two men who went to the temple to pray. "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican." v.10 KJV So, the first was a Pharisee. And he came to God through his own works. Watch what he says here: "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are,...  " v. 11a KJV The Pharisee came to God based on his works and t...
